Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the ryokan was truly special, with a beautiful suite that had a stunning open-air bath and delectable meals that made each dining experience memorable. The view of Mt. Yufu from the public bath added a picturesque touch. However, the lack of curtains on some windows and the absence of a shower in my room were slight downfalls. Overall, I found it to be a relaxing getaway, and I can't wait to return.
My stay at this modern ryokan was quite an experience! The room with a private bath was simply amazing, and the food served at the restaurant was delicious, with the option of reserving a private dining cell. However, I did face a bit of a language barrier, as only the front desk staff spoke English, which made communication challenging at times. Also, while they don’t provide a pickup service from the station, finding a taxi was easy and conducive to convenience.
My stay at Baien was absolutely wonderful! The suite was spacious, featuring both an open-air bath and an indoor bath that offered a truly relaxing experience. The views from the public bath of Mt. Yufu were stunning. While the food was top-notch, the language barrier with some staff members was a slight inconvenience. Overall, Baien is a top choice if you're visiting Yufuin, despite a couple of minor setbacks.
Our stay at this ryokan was truly delightful, with beautiful outdoor onsens and a fantastic kaiseiki dinner. The room we had was incredibly spacious and featured both an indoor and outdoor bath, which was a highlight. However, it’s worth noting that not all rooms come with a shower or bathtub, which might be inconvenient for some. The staff really made the experience special, and the overall ambiance was peaceful and relaxing.
My stay at this modern ryokan was a unique experience, with an amazing private bath that had a stunning view. The food was delightful, especially at the restaurant where we enjoyed a private dining cell. However, the language barrier made communication a bit challenging, and I wish they offered a pickup service from the station. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with a few minor inconveniences.
